Manoj is from Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh, and received his Bachelor degree (Chemistry)in 2016 and Master's degree (Spl. Organic Chemistry) in 2019 from University of Allahabad, India. He completed his master's dissertation under the supervision of Prof. Vandana Singh on the topic "Use of green and microwave assisted synthetic approach in alkylation reactions." He also worked on a short term project under the supervision of Dr. Santosh Srivastava (University of Allahabad) on topic "Biogenic synthesis of ZnO nanoparticels using exopolysaccerides (EPS)". After that he joined Ray's research group as PhD Fellow in Aug, 2020. He likes reading literature, travelling and playing sports. He also writes poems and stories.

Raktim is from Namrup, Dibrugarh, Assam and received his Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry in 2017 from B.Borooah College, Gauhati University. Later he completed his M.Sc from Department of Chemistry, Gauhati University (2017-19). There he did his M.Sc dissertation project “One pot synthesis of spiro-oxazolidine and its derivatives using green catalyst” under Dr. Dibakar Chandra Deka. Finally he joined Ray’s group as a Ph.D student in September 2020. In his free time he enjoys painting, reading and travelling.

After M.sc, he worked under the guidance of Dr. Sunirmal Jana (Principal Scientist) on “Development of Polyurethane based anticorrosive composite sheet for designing of military shoes,” sponsored by DRDO, Govt. of India, at CGCRI-Kolkata. He also worked on a short term project under the supervision of Dr. Debayan Sarkar (Associate Professor), National Institute of Technology, Rourkela (NITR). Finally he joined Ray's group as Junior Research Fellow in July, 2018. He likes reading novels, travelling and painting during free time.

Saheli is from West Bengal, India and received her Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry in 2012 and Master’s in chemistry (Physical specialisation) in 2015 from West Bengal State University (WBSU). During MSc. she did summer project under supervision of Dr. Manirul Islam, Kalyani University on metal catalyst. She did her MSc. final semester project under the supervision Dr. Prasun kumar Mandal at IISER, Kolkata on synthesis and spectroscopic studies and photo-switching of fluorescence probe. After M.Sc., she joined as a project staff in CGCRI, CSIR, Kolkata. Saheli joined Ray’s Group in Aug of 2015 as a PhD student and focusing on NLO active rotary switches. In her free time, she enjoys reading literature, painting and dancing.

Richa is from Haryana and received his Bachelor's degree (Physical Sciences) in 2017 from the University of Delhi and Master's degree (Chemistry) in 2019 from Vellore Institute of Technology. During MSc., She has worked on projects in organometallic which mostly dealt with ferrocene chromophores under the guidance of Dr. Nallasamy Palanisami, one of which got published on the topic “Ferrocene conjugated donor-π-acceptor malononitrile dimer: Synthesis, theoretical calculations, electrochemical, optical and nonlinear optical studies”. She completed her master's dissertation in Hindustan Unilever Limited, R&D Bengaluru under the supervision of Dr. Biplab Dutta on the topic “Understanding the effect of surface-distribution of Absorptive and Dispersive complex materials on blocking Ultraviolet Radiation”. After that, She joined Ray's research group as JRF Fellow in Feb 2021. She likes reading literature, traveling, and playing sports. She also has an interest in making Sketch and doing artistic works.
